Katapult Africa opens applications for latest climate-focused accelerator programme

The Katapult Africa accelerator program, which aims to assist climate-tech firms in achieving three important milestones—growth, investor readiness, and impact management—is now accepting applications.

Participants in the three-month Katapult Africa program have access to extensive networks of important players, such as investors and industry experts, as well as intense seminars and learning sessions. This gives them the resources, information, and contacts they need to expand their influence throughout the continent.

Additionally, ventures that take part will earn equity investments ranging from $150,000 to $500,000.

Katapult Africa is seeking impact-driven early-stage climate-tech companies in Africa that are run by seasoned teams, have scalable business models, and have clear routes to early revenue or commercialization. The impact areas of climate-smart agriculture, resilient food systems, and agritech are all pan-African.
