Baby-focused quick commerce startup Kiddo raises Rs 12.5 Cr from Campus Fund

Baby-focused quick commerce startup Kiddo has secured Rs 12.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Campus Fund, with backing from a group of strategic angel investors.

The company said the capital will support customer acquisition, expansion of its dark-store network across Delhi NCR, technology and product development, and hiring.

Founded last year by Ankit Kawatra, Kiddo offers baby care and parenting products with deliveries in minutes. Its platform also uses a child’s life stage to provide parents with relevant product recommendations.

India’s baby care market was valued at $31 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $56 billion by 2029, growing at an estimated CAGR of 13%–14%, according to a market report.

Kiddo says it has built a catalogue of more than 30,000 SKUs spanning essentials, fashion and other categories since its launch. The startup is focused on affluent households and currently serves customers in Delhi NCR. It plans to add more dark stores in the region by the end of this year. Kiddo also claims its blended gross margin exceeds the typical margins seen among horizontal grocery quick commerce platforms.

The startup operates in a competitive baby and kids’ commerce market alongside companies such as FirstCry, AllThingsBaby and OZi.

Gurugram-based OZi raised $3.3 million in a seed round from Blume Ventures in October last year before raising another $6.2 million in a Series A round led by RTP Global in March this year. The platform offers more than 15,000 products and provides deliveries within 60 minutes.

Bengaluru-based Peeko, another quick commerce platform focused on baby care, raised $3.2 million from Stellaris Venture Partners in August last year. It subsequently raised Rs 67.4 crore in a Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures in August 2026. Its product range includes baby apparel, toys, gear and consumables.

Established companies are also increasing their focus on faster delivery in the category. FirstCry, for instance, has been expanding its quick-delivery offerings as parents increasingly seek convenience when purchasing baby and parenting products.
