E-procurement platform Centriti raised Rs 6 Cr funding from Emergent India Ventures
Centriti, an e-procurement platform that connects businesses to businesses, has secured a fresh funding round of Rs 6 crore. The round was spearheaded by Emergent India Ventures and included participation from Atrium Angels, Alluvium Capital, Venture Garage, CoralBay Ventures, HOF, and Brigade Group.
According to a press release from Centriti, the additional funds will be used to improve technological capabilities, shorten service times, and expand into new regions.
Daljeet Singh founded Centriti in 2022. The company uses warehousing, mid-mile logistics, and AI-driven inventory management solutions to help hotels and restaurants cut expenses, minimize waste, and boost overall operational effectiveness. The platform’s proprietary integrated inventory software helps businesses make informed decisions by automating inventory tracking and replenishment and by offering insightful analytics and forecasts.
With minimal technological integration and multiple supplier management, Centriti eliminates inefficiencies. For hospitality businesses, it greatly improves operational efficiency and reliability by combining all procurement requirements into one effective system.
The startup, situated in Delhi, states that it collaborates with a number of well-known hospitality brands, including Barbeque Nation, Accor Group, Taj Hotels, and Oberoi Hotels. In the next two years, it hopes to grow to Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Chennai in addition to its current locations in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur.
EagleOwl, SlickPOS, POSist, PetPooja, SupplyNote, and other prominent players are also present in this market.
