GoTrust raised $400K Pre-seed funding from Aevitas Capital

GoTrust, a startup focused on data governance and privacy compliance, has raised $400K in a pre-seed funding round led by Aevitas Capital Private Limited, with additional angel investors participating.
The new funding will be utilized to boost product development, grow its skilled workforce, and penetrate new markets both domestically and abroad, GoTrust said in a press release.
GoTrust, which Himanshu Gautam founded in 2023, gives companies the resources they need to comply with intricate data protection laws. Consent management, data mapping, and risk assessment are just a few of the features on its platform that help businesses meet compliance requirements and win over customers.
According to the Noida-based startup, its solution offers essential features like automated data discovery, consent and preference management, DSR automation, compliance tracking with a DPO Runbook (which covers GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and DPDPA), third-party risk management, and centralized policy updates. It also integrates easily with current systems.
According to GoTrust, its platform enables companies to substitute a safe and scalable solution for manual, disjointed processes, lowering risk, saving time, and enhancing digital trust. By providing flexible, user-friendly compliance solutions that are suited to businesses of all sizes, it meets the rising demand for data protection while guaranteeing smooth adherence to changing data protection regulations.
It might compete with other companies in this market, like OneTrust, Secriti.AI, and SISA Network Intelligence, either directly or indirectly.
