Healthcare focused fintech startup Care.fi raised $2.6 M Debt funding
Care.fi is a fintech startup that focuses on healthcare. Trifecta Capital has contributed $2 million (Rs 16 crore) in debt capital, and UC Inclusive Credit has contributed an additional $0.6 million (Rs 5 crore).
According to a press release from Care.fi, the money raised will go toward growing the company, bolstering the team, expanding its book size, and improving the business.
Care.fi is a fintech startup that was co-founded in 2021 by Sidak Singh and Vikrant Agarwal. It provides hospitals, physicians, and associated suppliers with intelligent financing options. It fills in the financial gaps in the healthcare sector. The organization provides financial support to healthcare practitioners and establishments, enabling more efficient operations and quicker expansion.
The Gurugram-based business says it has assisted over 2,000 patients and collaborates with over 50 hospitals. Additionally, it states that its cumulative disbursals of $48 million (about Rs 400 crore) represent a 4x increase in total disbursals.
Moreover, Care.fi was granted an NBFC license in less than two years of business. Bajaj Finserv Health, SaveIn, and CarePay are other significant market participants.
