Healthcare startup studio 2070 Health received $30 M from W Health Ventures
W Health Ventures has contributed $30 million to the healthcare startup studio 2070 Health, which will be used to create new healthcare businesses.
According to a press release from the business, the funds will be used to develop the 2070 Health platform and fund newly established businesses. ElevateNow, Nivaan Care, and Reveal HealthTech are the three businesses that 2070 Health has already launched in the past nine months.
Pankaj Jethwani founded 2070 Health, which supports founders as they test, roll out, and refine their concepts. Over the next five years, the company intends to launch 15 to 20 healthcare businesses.
The venture studio narrows down potential ideas, which are then validated using discussions with physicians and patients, clinical research, and go-to-market trials to find a solution.
W Health Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on the healthcare industry, makes investments in US and Indian-based businesses that use technology to address urgent unmet medical needs and enhance care delivery. For the uninitiated, the founding team of both W Health Ventures and 2070 Health is the same.
