Hex Trust raised $88 M in a Animoca Brands led deal

Hex Trust, a Hong Kong-based supplier of digital asset custody services, has raised $88 million in a Series B investment round, according to Asia Tech Daily.

Ripple, Morgan Creek, Terra, Primavera Venture Partners, and entrepreneur Adrian Cheng all participated in the investment round, which was led by Liberty City Ventures and Animoca Brands. The investment, according to Bloomberg, raises the company’s capitalization to $300 million.

Alessio Quaglini, Marc Amez-Droz, and Rafal Czerniawski created Hext Trust in 2018. It is well recognised for its proprietary bank-grade platform Hex Safe, which provides decentralised finance and prime trading solutions to financial enterprises, digital asset corporations, and organisations.
