Through equity crowdfunding, foodtech GoodMorning Global raised $4.4 M

Through equity crowdfunding, the foodtech company GoodMorning Global Group, based in Malaysia, has raised MYR 20 million ($4.41 million).

Last Friday, GoodMorning Global released a statement stating that 1,046 investors had contributed to the fundraise.

The company’s funder and executive chairman, Dr. Lim Sin Boon, recognized the equity crowdfunding campaign’s success as a significant accomplishment in line with the company’s mission to improve consumer health and generate value for investors.

He reiterated the group’s commitment to working toward a common global future by promoting reasonably priced, nutrient-dense, well-balanced plant-based protein foods and tackling issues like climate change, rising sea levels, and food crises.

He credited GoodMorning’s steadfast patronage and love for the brand’s ascent to the top of the grain beverage market in Malaysia, where it now holds an astounding 70% market share.

GoodMorning Global has also established strategic alliances with businesses and educational establishments like Eastern Arrow LLC, University Tunku Abdul Rahman, and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology in an effort to address global food crises and greenhouse gas emissions.

Additionally, the company has initiated cooperative research initiatives in the domains of biotechnology and food.

The company emphasized its dedication to promoting plant-based protein foods that are both reasonably priced and nutritionally balanced on a global basis.

Lim noted that GoodMorning Global is well-positioned to investigate limitless prospects in the enormous global market while resolutely pursuing sustainable development.

The GoodMorning Global Group’s chief executive officer and chief financial officer, Dr. Charles Cheng Fang Chin, has also emphasized the company’s dedication to international cooperation in tackling the problems of food security through cutting-edge solutions in plant-based protein and biotechnology.
