Industrial entrepreneurs and current investors participated in a $4 million Pre-Series A financing coordinated by Giraffe Studios for Gurugram-based deeptech startup Zenergize Technologies.
Both venture debt and equity are included in the round.
The additional funds will be utilized to enhance product development, increase manufacturing capacity, bolster engineering and R&D, and develop the company’s sales and service network.
Zenergize, founded by Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, creates power electronics based on silicon carbide (SiC) for electric vehicles and renewable energy.
Solar inverters and AC and DC EV chargers with capacities up to 240 kW are among its offerings.
Within a year of commercialization, the company boasts an order book surpassing Rs 150 crore and an annual revenue run rate of Rs 30 crore. Its solar inverters have been certified by BIS, and its EV chargers have been certified by automakers.
Nikhil Sawhney, Varun Agarwal, Shyam Bagri, Raoul Bajaj, Sunil Kalra, Ajith Pai, Sandeep Barasia, Nitin Jain, and Hemant Daga are among the investors. Within the following nine months, Zenergize wants to raise its yearly revenue run rate to more than Rs 100 crore.
