ODX Flexport incubator shortlisted Nigerian logistics startup OnePort 365
OnePort 365, a Nigerian logistics business, has been chosen to participate in the ODX Flexport incubation programme, which is organised by Flexport and On Deck to help the next generation of logistics entrepreneurs throughout the world.
Flexport, a freight forwarding and customs brokerage firm based in the United States, was founded in 2013, whereas On Deck is a business accelerator. They administer ODX Flexport, which has chosen OnePort 365 to provide funding and assistance to businesses through a community-backed initiative.
OnePort 365 is a digital freight management software that enables African cross-border traders manage their freight procedures. It is now operational in Nigeria and Ghana. The platform gives African firms end-to-end digital access to all-inclusive seamless freight forwarding, increasing efficiency and cutting costs.
The initiative would assist the startup’s dedication to improving the trading process for African cross-border traders, utilising technology to organise and automate freight management operations, according to the company, which counts Samurai Incubate and the CcHub Syndicate among its investors.
“We are aware of the challenges involved when dealing with the import and export of goods from this part of the world. We deal with a lot of exporters daily and the process can be quite complex. Our purpose is to usher in a radical change that enhances Africa’s participation in global trade with a complete systemic transformation,” said co-founder Hio Sola-Usidame.
