Eka Care, an Indian healthcare business, has secured $15 million in a Series A round that was co-founded and financed by Hummingbird Ventures. Participating investors in the round were 3one4 Capital and Mirae Asset.

Vikalp Sahni and Deepak Tuli, who are also the co-founders of the travel booking website Goibibo, founded the business in December 2020.

Users of Eka Care may create several health profiles, save and exchange health information, including lists of shots received, prescriptions written, test results, and scans.

According to the healthcare company, it became the largest health repository with more than 30 million health records within the first year of its operation.

The business intends to utilize the additional funding, among other things, to create new products, hire more employees, and spread awareness of the advantages of having a healthy profile.

3one4 Capital, Eximius Ventures, and Speciale Invest, three venture capital companies, provided Eka Care with a seed investment of $4.5 million in August 2021. Deep Kalra and Rajesh Magow, co-founders of MakeMyTrip, Ashish Kashyap, the creator of INDmoney, and Kunal Shah, the founder of Cred, were among the angel investors that took part.
