Swirl raised $1.1 M Seed funding from angel investors, others
Video commerce startup Swirl has raised $1.1 million in a seed round led by angel investors and supported by Shastra VC (formerly Veda VC).
Arun Prabhudesai, Neha Kulwal, Ratan Ingu, Mohammed Dewji, Naim Siddiqui, Anil Goteti, Jiten Patri, Arun Vaish, Shan Krishnasamy, Paresh Chaudhry, and other angels are among them.
Swirl claims that the money will be utilized to expand its GTM and product teams, with an emphasis on the US and Middle Eastern markets, and to satisfy its soaring worldwide customer demand.
Swirl was founded in 2021 by Kaizad Hansotia and Bheshaj Joshi. It currently operates out of India and plans to open offices in the US and Dubai in order to increase its worldwide reach. It counts Puma, VIVO, TVS, Arvind, Momstore, Homesrus, Gkhair, and LG among its global clientele.
Companies report seeing an average 13X ROI, over 40% higher ROAS, a 35% engagement rate, and a 3X increase in e-commerce conversions after integrating with Swirl.
