The TiE Women MENA Program is launching its fifth edition through TiE Dubai. The objective of this program is to support, involve, and enable female entrepreneurs throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, regardless of their business’s size, origin, status, or background.
Qualifications
– ONLY startups co-founded or founded by women. The only person who will get the chance to pitch is the female co-founder or founder.
– The minimum equity share held by a female co-founder in the company is 33%.
– Businesses that had only been in operation for a short period of time at the time of application (those registered after January 1, 2017).
– Startups in the idea stage are not eligible for screening.
June 30, 2024, is the application deadline.
The competition provides an opportunity to become visible, connect with investors and business executives, and receive one-on-one mentoring.
A cash prize of up to $50,000 will be awarded to the MENA winner who pitches at the TiE Global Summit in Bangalore, India. Selected entrepreneurs will have the chance to present their ideas and pitch in front of investors and industry experts during NorthStar, GITEX in the UAE.
