Video telematics startup Cautio raised Rs 6.5 Cr Pre-seed funding
In its pre-seed round, which was led by Antler, 8i, and AU Bank, video telematics startup Cautio raised Rs 6.5 crore ($780k). With additional participation from Cautio’s early clients and angel investors, Antler, 8i Ventures, and AU Small Finance Bank led the funding, which was a combination of debt and equity.
With the money raised, the startup plans to expand the scope of its national safety solution rollout.
Ankit Acharya and Pranjal Nadhani founded Cautio, which provides specialized solutions and affordable video telematics products to address common safety concerns in India.
Cautio minimizes revenue loss, enhances driver behavior, establishes accountability, and employs an API-first approach with its AI-powered operating system and configurable dash cams.
The startup counts logistic companies, mobility companies, and institutions among its clientele. Additionally, it actively participates in a number of national pilot projects.
Some of the industry leaders in this field are Safe Cams, LightMetrics, and Qubo from Hero Group.
