A number of prominent investors participated in the funding round, including Ivy Growth, Games24x7 (an existing investor), WeFounderCircle, Eagle10 Ventures (through LetsVenture), and Pranav Patel of Pnr Projects Private Limited.
According to a press release from the startup, the money will be utilized to grow revenue, start new projects, and strengthen the brand.
Through data-driven insights, CricHeroes, founded by Abhishek Desai, Kuntal Shah, and Meet Shah, enables millions of grassroots cricket players to showcase their talent, receive recognition, and advance their skills. By recording every transaction among its users, the platform also helps to build a robust grassroots cricket community.
Users of the Ahmedabad-based startup can also add their own teams, look for players, look for teams, schedule a game with nearby teams, locate local tournaments, analyze their performance, share their accomplishments, and do a lot more.
CricHeroes says that it has been able to quickly grow its user base and establish a complete ecosystem for grassroots cricket thanks to its freemium business model.
