OTP Ventures led $2.4 M funding raised by omni-channel healthcare brand Zeelab Pharmacy

OTP Ventures led the $2.4 million fundraising round for omnichannel healthcare brand Zeelab Pharmacy.

According to a press release from Zeelab, the new funding will be used for expansion, with an emphasis on growing its retail presence and improving delivery capabilities.

Zeelab Pharmacy, a pharmacy founded in 2019 by Rohit Mukul, offers reasonably priced, superior generic medications along with other goods. It seeks to empower the Indian pharmaceutical sector, make quality healthcare accessible to everyone in India, and give access to basic healthcare.

Bollywood star Randeep Hooda was recently named Zeelab’s brand ambassador. With the goal of establishing an India where all citizens have access to medications at their actual cost, it plans to give patients medications at a 90% reduced cost.

According to Zeelab Pharmacy, it handles more than 1,500 orders every day and boasts an impressive network of more than 225 stores.

Zeelab intends to quicken its growth plans, giving top priority to building a larger retail network, enabling 60-minute delivery in both metro and non-metropolitan areas, and solidifying its position as a pioneer in the Indian healthcare industry.
