Seafood infrastructure company Dam Good Fish raises strategic funding at Rs 30 Cr valuation

At a valuation of about Rs 30 crore (roughly $3.6 million), the seafood infrastructure company Dam Good Fish (DGF) has secured a strategic funding round.
According to a press release from the company, the new funding will be utilized to build teams in supply chain, data, and operations, expand supply and processing infrastructure, enter new metro markets, and improve its AI-led demand and supply systems.
Shobhit Gaur and Shailesh Patel co-founded Dam Good Fish in 2023 to provide customers with ultra-fresh, naturally raised fish straight from dams. Offering premium, chemical-free seafood while encouraging sustainability and openness is the startup’s main goal.
The Gurugram-based business is developing a “Demand-to-Harvest” operating system in which actual consumption is matched with procurement and harvesting, and demand is forecasted at the pincode level. By reducing post-harvest waste and increasing inventory turnover, inventory flows through a regulated cold-chain network, improving unit economics.
Demand forecasting, procurement intelligence, inventory optimization, and cold-chain monitoring are just a few of the critical operations where DGF incorporates AI. The company boasts a base of over 5,000 active households, a repeat purchase rate of over 55%, and partnerships with B2B platforms like Hyperpure in Delhi NCR.
DGF is currently increasing its footprint in Delhi NCR and intends to grow into Bengaluru and Mumbai. With a focus on pincode-level density, repeat consumption, and predictable demand cycles, the company seeks to scale in a controlled manner.
