EV mobility startup Trev Mobility secured Rs 3.65 Cr Angel funding to expand across Delhi NCR

Trev Mobility, an EV mobility platform, has raised Rs 3.65 crore from its current users in an angel funding round. The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme had previously awarded the startup Rs 20 lakh.

According to a press release from the company, the proceeds will be utilized to grow its fleet of electric vehicles and scale operations throughout the NCR region, which includes Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

Trev Mobility is a high-end, app-first EV mobility platform that Naveen Gupta launched in January 2024 with the goal of redefining urban travel in India through a smooth fusion of comfort and sustainability. It is based on the idea of premium mobility, providing easy access to premium, chauffeur-driven electric cars via an easy-to-use mobile app.

“Our goal is to build a service that feels less like a cab and more like your own personal car. With 100 EVs now on the road, four cities covered, and 40,000 rides delivered, we are just getting started on our mission to make premium electric mobility accessible to every Indian commuter,” said Naveen Gupta, founder of Trev Mobility.

The Gurugram-based startup claims that in order to increase in-ride security and accountability, it is also making investments in safety and technology, such as AI-powered dashcams. Trev Mobility is in a good position to grow its business across urban use cases as EV adoption rises in India and demand for electric mobility rises.

Over 45,000 rides have been completed since the company’s founding, with 55–60% of users returning. It provides out-of-town travel, rentals, and airport transfers; about 75% of reservations are made via its app.

Trev, which is expanding throughout Delhi NCR, offers dependable, organized mobility solutions to both individual and business clients. Leading electric car manufacturers like BYD and MG are part of its fleet. In the upcoming months, it intends to increase the fleet of 100 EVs it currently operates throughout Delhi NCR.
