Music tech startup Tringbox raises Rs 5 Cr Seed funding from Nikhil Gandhi

Through GIPL, Mumbai-based music-tech firm Tringbox has acquired Rs 5 crore in a seed fundraising round headed by Nikhil Gandhi. Through One Love Technologies, the startup’s parent company, the MGB Family Office, Paytm Chief Business Officer Narendra Singh Yadav, and other angel investors participated in the financing.

Tringbox, which was founded by former Paytm CEO Amandeep Singh Chawla, is developing an AI-powered in-store music intelligence platform for commercial establishments like restaurants, gyms, salons, cafés, retail stores, clinics, and hotels.

The money raised will be utilized to increase product development, broaden the network of intelligent speakers, and scale up deployments in high-end Indian venues.

Tringbox claims to have implemented its platform at over 30 commercial venues within the past year while operating in stealth mode. Additionally, the company has access to cloud infrastructure, technical assistance, and AI tools thanks to NVIDIA Inception and AWS startup credits totaling Rs 1 lakh.

Its innovative Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine, which dynamically modifies music based on venue type, weather, temperature, time of day, and customer surroundings, is the foundation of its product. In order to produce context-aware music experiences, the platform analyzes audio properties such as tempo, rhythm, energy, loudness, and harmonic stability.

In addition to its business solution, Tringbox runs a platform allowing restaurants, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues to request songs using QR codes. Through AI-powered moderation, the functionality lets patrons request songs while allowing venue management to have control over playlists.
