In a pre-seed fundraising round headed by SenseAI Ventures and including Uppekkha, startup for AI-native incident management Sherlocks AI has raised Rs 7.5 crore.
The new funding, according to the company, will be utilized to improve its product and increase go-to-market initiatives in North America.
Sherlocks AI, which was founded in 2025 by Gaurav Toshniwal and Akshat Jain, creates software that assists businesses in managing and investigating production events involving cloud-native and microservices-based systems. Its technology analyzes issues in databases, cloud infrastructure, networks, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines using AI agents.
Fynd, Lokal, and TradeIndia are among the enterprise and mid-market clients of Sherlocks AI.
More than thirty enterprise solutions in cloud, observability, database, and infrastructure settings are integrated with the platform, according to the company. It was also certified as SOC 2 Type 2.
Toshniwal co-founded Aasaanjobs, which was purchased by OLX, before starting Sherlocks AI. Afterwards, he was Doubtnut’s CTO. Jain previously oversaw Doubtnut’s machine learning and search departments.
