Nutrition startup Supply6 raises Rs 48 Cr from Unilever Ventures

With participation from current investor Zeropearl VC, nutrition startup Supply6 has secured Rs 48 crore ($5 million) in a fundraising round headed by Unilever Ventures.

Actor and businesswoman Kriti Sanon also participated in the round.

Supply6 raised $1.1 million (Rs 9.1 crore) in a seed round headed by Zeropearl VC and other investors back in September of last year. The Karnataka government awarded the company a grant of Rs 25 lakh after it had previously raised Rs 10 crore.

Product innovation, clinical research, supply chain expansion, digital experience, and growth across D2C, marketplaces, and rapid commerce channels will all benefit from the funds.

Supply6, which was founded by Vaibhav Bhandari and Rahul Jacob, provides daily supplements in the vitamin, hydration, and fiber categories. Probiotics, vitamins, and adaptogens are among the more than 63 ingredients that make up its flagship product, Supply6 360.

The firm uses platforms like Amazon and Blinkit in addition to its own website to sell its goods. The company claims that two flagship goods account for a sizable portion of its income, with repeat purchases significantly boosting growth.

With more than 2 lakh clients and former cricket player AB de Villiers as a brand ambassador, the company is growing into international preventive health markets and developing a solid repeat-purchase base (45%).

In the next three to four months, the company hopes to increase its annualized revenue run rate (ARR) from its present level of Rs 75 crore to Rs 100 crore.
