Winners of first healthcare business accelerator announced by IHH Healthcare and Fortis

IHH Healthcare, together with its subsidiary Fortis Healthcare, has announced the winners of the inaugural IHH Catalyst | Fortis India Edition, an accelerator program designed to foster healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship in India.

During the program’s demo day, 10 healthcare startups showcased their solutions to a panel of healthcare executives, clinicians, investors, and industry experts after completing a 12-week accelerator that provided mentorship, clinical validation, operational support, and opportunities to test their technologies within the Fortis Healthcare network.

The startups were evaluated on four key criteria: the strength of the founding team, the level of innovation, potential impact and scalability, and overall business viability. Judges also considered each solution’s clinical relevance, readiness for implementation, and ability to address healthcare challenges at scale.

eNext ICU emerged as the winner of the 2026 edition for its 24/7 Tele ICU platform, which is designed to help address the shortage of intensivists, particularly in India’s Tier II and Tier III cities. RNT Health Insights was named first runner-up for developing AI-powered medical devices that improve the early detection of upper gastrointestinal cancers during routine endoscopic procedures. Cartogene Therapeutics secured second runner-up for its work to make CAR T-cell therapy more accessible and affordable for patients with blood cancers in India.

Launched in February 2026 as the first regional edition of IHH Healthcare’s global incubator platform, the program attracted 195 applications from healthcare startups across India. Following a multi-stage selection process, 10 startups were chosen for the inaugural cohort.

The first cohort included Cartogene Therapeutics, CarePal Money, Tatvacare, MicroHeal, RNT Health Insights, Nalagenetics, Sunfox Technologies, eNext ICU, Kubo Care, and Cureous Labs.
