Hyderabad to host third Business Women Expo 2023 from March 10-12

According to Mr. M.V. Sudhakar, Assistant Director, MSME-Development Institute, 60 MSMEs will receive assistance from the Ministry of MSME to participate in the 3rd Business Women Expo 2023, which will be hosted at Hitex from March 10 to 12.

The expo’s goal, according to Sambit of Hitex, is to provide networking chances and commercial prospects.

At a press conference held by Hitex to provide an overview of the upcoming event, Sudhakar stated that we are responsible for covering their participation costs.

He said that they assist MSMEs in a variety of ways, including financing availability, technological advancement, infrastructure development, capacity expansion, marketing assistance, and participation in both local and international exhibits.

According to Mr. Sudhir, the department is assisting women MSMEs with new-age skills like trademark, patent, GST, zero return filing, cyber security, and many other new concerns and themes MSMEs are facing.

The primary scientist of the Indian Institute of Millet Research, Dr. KBRS Visarada, stated that nutritional security is the need of the hour. Prior to that, it was food security. The cuisine is now widely accessible. Millets are an excellent grain for ensuring a balanced diet.

She said that IIMR teaches home entrepreneurs how to create biscuits and cookies for both domestic and commercial usage in addition to creating new millet recipes, revitalising some old ones, and introducing millet beverages.

The United Nations declared 2023 to be the International Year of Millets, thanks in large part to the IIMR. The glory of India is millets. International appreciation for our traditional grains, she continued.

Millets should be served with dinner, she pleaded.

Millets, according to Dr. Shilpi Reddy of KIMS University, are an energy source. According to her, their booth at the exhibition will teach mothers how to prepare themselves to have bright children.

For the benefit of female entrepreneurs, TiE will operate an investor connect programme, according to Srini Chandupatla, vice president of TiE Hyderabad. They may make an investor pitch.

We CORNER, the first retail forward linkage support channel for women entrepreneurs, would be launched, according to Usha of We Hub, who also mentioned that they were aiming to start an accelerator shortly.
