Thailand’s Amity Robotics raises $7 M Seed funding to scale AI concierge robots across Asia

Thailand-based Amity Robotics, a physical AI and robotics company focused on creating AI-powered experiences for the physical world, has secured $7 million in a seed funding round comprising both equity and debt financing.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the company said the equity portion of the round was led by East Ventures, with participation from 500 Global, while AlteriQ Global led the debt financing.

Amity Robotics designs and assembles its own robotic solutions and has developed a proprietary Robotic Operating System that powers its robots’ voice interactions and movement. The company is preparing to launch ARC Move, its first mobile robot, which is designed to approach customers, provide assistance, and guide them through retail stores and large commercial properties.

Its flagship product, ARC Base, is a stationary AI-powered concierge kiosk deployed across more than 30 properties in Singapore, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The company is also set to roll out its first European deployment in July. Its customer base includes shopping mall operators such as Pavilion KL, Siam Piwat, The Mall Group, and Pacific Place Jakarta, as well as hospitality brands under IHG, Accor, and Shangri-La.

Korawad Chearavanont, Chairman of Amity Robotics, said the company is committed to building a globally competitive physical AI business from Thailand and Southeast Asia. He added that the latest funding reflects investor confidence in the company’s vision of bringing AI into real-world environments to serve people directly.

East Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Partner Willson Cuaca said Amity Robotics has demonstrated strong execution by successfully commercializing ARC Base across leading hotels and premium shopping malls in seven markets.

According to Amity Robotics Chief Operating Officer Lionel Chin, the growing adoption of ARC Base demonstrates that physical AI has moved beyond pilot projects and is ready for large-scale commercial use. He said the new funding will help the company strengthen product integrations, expand operations, and accelerate the launch of ARC Move.

Amity Robotics is a sister company of AI firm Amity, which recently completed $100 million Series D funding round. While both companies share Amity Corporation as a major shareholder, they operate as separate and independent businesses.
