Women in Tech Accelerator Program launched by BML Munjal University and Ideabaaz

Propel Incubator at BML Munjal University (BMU), in collaboration with Ideabaaz, has launched the Women in Tech Accelerator Program, a 12-week initiative aimed at helping women-led technology startups scale through structured mentorship, industry access, investor-readiness support, and national visibility.
The accelerator seeks to address key challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, including limited access to capital, industry networks, mentorship, and growth opportunities. It will provide founders with a structured platform for business acceleration, market expansion, industry integration, and investor engagement, enabling them to build scalable and sustainable ventures.
Selected startups will have an opportunity to showcase their ventures on a national stage through Season 2 of Ideabaaz, presenting before investors, industry leaders, and a television audience.
Five women-led firms creating technology-driven solutions in fields like climate tech, healthcare and MedTech, artificial intelligence, DeepTech, sustainability, automation and robotics, EdTech, and social innovation will make up the first cohort.
Additionally, the effort builds on the success of Ideabaaz Season 1, which included 86 entrepreneurs and secured deals totaling Rs 41 crore, including a single Rs 8.5 crore investment commitment.
Commenting on the launch, Davinder Singh, CEO – Incubation and Professor at the School of Management, BML Munjal University, said, “Through the Women in Tech Accelerator Program, we aim to provide founders with the mentorship, industry access, and investor-readiness support needed to accelerate growth and transform promising ideas into scalable ventures. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering innovation-led entrepreneurship and creating meaningful impact through technology.”
Over 110 entrepreneurs have benefited from BMU’s Propel Incubator over the last five years, helping them secure over Rs 110 crore in outside capital. The collaboration accelerates the expansion of women-led businesses throughout India by combining incubation experience, investor access, mentorship, and entrepreneurial exposure.
