$2 M raised by SaaS startup GTM Buddy in seed round

GTM Buddy, a Hyderabad-based sales tech SaaS firm, said on Tuesday that it has secured $2 million in a seed round headed by Stellaris Venture Partners.

Sreedhar Peddineni, Santa Thounaojam, Sundar Vellaichamy, and Chandramani Tiwary co-founded the company, which provides a sales enablement platform for salespeople.

According to a press release from the startup firm, the platform helps customers speed up their negotiations and increase their win rates by providing important information to their buyers.

GTM Buddy’s platform, which is powered by a Contextual AI engine, pre-processes all sales enablement content from the organization’s content repositories, external content, and other sources; auto indexes and surfaces the most relevant information in the context of a conversation with a prospective buyer.

The money obtained will be used to rapidly improve product capabilities as well as to expand the go-to-market teams – including sales, marketing, and customer success.

Mr. Peddineni, CEO and Co-Founder of GTM Buddy, stated that the company uses the most recent advancements in technology, design, and AI to deliver the right information to sellers at the right time, information that is contextually relevant to buyers and available within the tools that they use on a daily basis.

“We are delighted to work with Alok and the Stellaris team as they have earned a strong reputation as true partners to the founders in the roller coaster ride of building startups and we look forward to a long partnership with the Stellaris team in building GTM Buddy,” he added.

With an experienced SaaS entrepreneur like Sreedhar heading the team at GTM Buddy, Mr. Alok Goyal, Partner, Stellaris Venture Partners, said, “We are certain that the platform will be a gamechanger in the sales enablement market.”

Prior to GTM Buddy, Peddineni co-founded Host Analytics, a SaaS platform that was eventually bought by Vector Capital and was a market leader in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) area.
