On last day Adani Wilmar IPO oversubscribed 18 times

On the penultimate day of the bidding process, the Adani Wilmar initial public offering (IPO) received a strong response from investors, with the issue being subscribed roughly 18.33 times. According to Axis Capital statistics, Adani Wilmar got a total of 2128780550 bids for 116123964 shares, resulting in an 18.33 times oversubscription. The shares granted to anchor investors are not included in the data. Prior to the IPO debut, the business has previously collected Rs 940 crore from anchor investors such as GIC, HDFC AMC, Birla AMC, Nippon AMC, Jupiter, Societe Generale, Volrado, and Cohesion MK.

While the retail quota was oversubscribed 4.14 times, the NII component was oversubscribed 59.40 times. The QIB part was 6.04 times oversubscribed, while the AEL shareholders quota was 35.17 times oversubscribed. Employees’ quotas were filled 0.54 times. Adani Wilmar, a 50:50 joint venture between Gautam Adani’s Adani company and Singapore’s Wilmar business, has reduced the amount of its initial public offering from Rs 4,500 crore to Rs 3,600 crore. The revenues of the IPO would be used to finance Adani Wilmar’s growth goals.
