Medical tourism company Global Care raised $3 M Series A funding

Leading a $3 million Series A funding round, 35North India Discovery Fund – II has given $3 million to the non-hospital medical tourism company Global Care.

According to a news release from Global Care, the money will be utilized to enhance clinical excellence by means of strategic consulting and by making patient care more accessible.

Global Care, founded by Rajeev Taneja in 2016, provides state-of-the-art medical care in various specialties in India, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Germany, and Thailand. It seeks to close gaps in global healthcare. By establishing clinical corridors and providing support for patients who cannot receive treatment in their home country, the company hopes to broaden the scope of healthcare services offered globally and establish a global ecosystem of clinical services.

As for its expansion, Global Care says it will concentrate on South-East Asia, Francophone Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, SAARC countries, Eastern Africa, and North Africa.

Companies like Nukleus Office Solutions, Cloud Tailor, Stupa Analytics, Big Bang Boom Solutions, Aatwri Aerospace and Defence, HomePecked, Beshak, and SpeedLabs (Teevra Edutech) are among those that have received funding from the India Discovery Fund – II.
