AWIEF’s annual Pitch n Grow competition invites applications from female-led startups

Pitch n Grow, AWIEF’s premier annual women entrepreneurship pitch competition program, is open to female-led firms. Its goal is to find, develop, and promote the most promising women-led businesses throughout Africa.

Every year, the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) hosts Pitch n Grow with the goal of enabling entrepreneurs to grow more quickly and have a greater impact by providing them with chances, training, visibility, and mentorship.

A strategic subject that is in line with AWIEF’s continental aspirations and outlook for Africa’s future is adopted for each Pitch n Grow edition.

“For 2026, we are shining a spotlight on Deep Technology and the unique advantage Africa already possesses – deep knowledge of local contexts, deep understanding of communities, and deep experience of challenges the rest of the world is yet to face,” organisers said.
