AscentHR, a provider of HR, payroll, compliance, and workforce management solutions, has acquired OS HRS for an undisclosed amount to strengthen its payroll capabilities across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.
The acquisition was completed in June 2026 through the purchase of 100% equity stakes in OS HRS Malaysia, OS HRS Japan, and OS HRS India from BREXA Inc.
The transaction expands AscentHR’s footprint across key markets, including India, Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea. Together, the combined business will deliver payroll, compliance, and workforce management services to companies with operations spanning multiple countries.
According to AscentHR, the acquisition is expected to nearly double the company’s revenue while significantly expanding its customer base across the region. The deal will also enhance its ability to provide payroll processing and regulatory compliance services to multinational corporations and regional enterprises.
OS HRS specializes in payroll outsourcing through its operations in Malaysia, Japan, and India. Its offerings include payroll administration, statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and compliance management, serving a client base that includes multinational corporations and several Fortune 500 companies.
Following the acquisition, the combined organization plans to deliver multi-country payroll services through a unified operating model. Customers will also have access to localized compliance expertise, HRMS platform integrations, payroll implementation services, and country-specific support across regional markets.
