Insurtech firm Eazy Digital acquired by Singapore’s Igloo

Singapore-based insurtech company Igloo has acquired Eazy Digital, a Singapore-headquartered insurtech firm with operations in Thailand and across Asia. The deal marks Igloo’s second major transaction in Thailand within the past year, following its 2025 joint venture with JMT Network Services to establish the country’s first fully digital insurer, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

As part of the acquisition, Eazy Digital’s client portfolio and Thailand-based team will be integrated into Igloo. Eazy Digital founder Harprem Doowa will assume the dual roles of Country Head of Igloo Thailand and Head of Tech Solutions APAC.

Founded in 2022, Eazy Digital provides a unified digital platform that enables insurers and brokers to digitize agent management, streamline operations, and improve sales productivity. The platform supports more than 20,000 agents and facilitates the issuance of millions of insurance policies each month. Its customer base includes Marsh Taiwan, Bangkok Insurance, Falcon Insurance, Gallagher, Chubb, and Tokio Marine Safety Insurance Thailand.

The acquisition comes as Thailand’s insurance industry prepares for reforms under the country’s Fifth Insurance Development Plan (2026–2030), which identifies insurance as a key driver of economic resilience. According to Igloo, many insurers and intermediaries in Thailand still depend on legacy systems for product distribution, configuration, and claims processing, resulting in product launch cycles of three to six months. Through its AI-powered Igloo Tech Solutions platform, the company says it can shorten that process to just a matter of days.

Igloo currently operates in six Southeast Asian markets and has facilitated more than 1.6 billion insurance policies to date, processing over 100 million policies each month through partnerships with more than 100 organizations. The company has raised over $100 million from investors including Eurazeo, Openspace Ventures, Cathay Innovation, and BlueOrchard.
