Fleet management platform Carrum Mobility raises $10 M Series B funding from Uber

Uber led a $10 million (about Rs 96 crore) Series B fundraising round for Carrum Mobility, a B2B fleet management platform. After investing $7 million in January 2026, this is Uber’s second investment in the business.

According to a news statement from Carrum Mobility, the new funding will be utilized to scale operations, improve its technology platform, and enter both new and existing markets.

Karan Jain founded Carrum Mobility in 2024 to offer fleet management services for electric and CNG automobiles. The platform manages driver operations and fleet utilization using data and technology.

Carrum Mobility claimed that the need for high-end mobility services has caused it to almost treble its business since Uber’s prior investment in January 2026.

As of September 2026, the company claims to run over 5,000 vehicles in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata. Its Chennai operations are scheduled to launch in September 2026, and it now has more than 18,000 driver partners.

Uber-backed fleet company Everest Fleet, which received a $20 million investment from Uber in November 2025, is a rival of Carrum Mobility. In September 2024, Uber made a $30 million investment in Everest Fleet.

According to Carrum Mobility, it has been profitable from its first month of business and, in just about two years, has established an annualized revenue run rate of almost Rs 400 crore.
