$5 M pre-seed Brimore led funding raised by Egyptian logistics startup Milezmore

Milezmore, an Egyptian business that offers cloud fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and customised operational solutions, has received a US $5 million pre-seed investment from social commerce platform Brimore.

Milezmore, which was founded a year ago, seeks to help businesses achieve high development potential by delivering supercharged cloud logistics solutions. It offers a comprehensive range of dependable, scalable, and cost-effective fulfilment solutions, all of which are powered by cutting-edge technology and enable businesses to give a flawless fulfilling experience to their consumers.

The company has grown rapidly, and its infrastructure now spans more than 20,000 square meters of warehouse space. Through 15 delivery hubs, it has grown its reach across Egypt, processing over 15 million goods, delivering over a million shipments, and recruiting 25 customers from various industries.

Brimore, which uses the strength of individual social networks to deliver wide, cost-effective market access, was Milezmore’s first customer, and has now invested US $5 million in the firm after closing a US $25 million Series A fundraising round last month.

Milezmore will be able to fast scale its cloud solutions thanks to additional funding, which will allow it to extend its storage space, boost delivery capacity, and double its crew, allowing for a 50X expansion in its client base.

“We are proud to be the first Egyptian startup to offer all three services and cater to all types of companies. What I witnessed during the past four years is that the traditional supply chain wasn’t built to solve today’s problem, and I believe Milezmore was built for that. In one year, we were able to build a strong and passionate team that drove the company forward and achieved tremendous results. This is only the beginning, and we’re confident that Milezmore will revolutionize the logistics industry in the near future,” said Ahmed El Attar, managing director and co-founder of Milezmore.

Due to the firm’s remarkable expansion, Brimore thought that investing in a company that handles all of its logistics was the way to go, especially because Egypt’s conventional supply chain structure is still inefficient.

“For decades, Egypt has suffered from a fragmented traditional supply chain structure that no longer works with the rise of new commerce models, especially after being hit with a global pandemic. To address this challenge, we believed that the best solution was to invest in Milezmore to handle all the heavy operations. After all, Brimore’s promise is to create a smart infrastructure for the masses, and our investment in Milezmore is a testament to that,” said CEO and co-founder of Brimore, Mohamed Abdulaziz.
