Indian SaaS firm Fieldproxy raised USD $750k in Pre-Series A round
In a Pre-series A round-headed by Y Combinator, Fieldproxy, a software-as-a-service platform that aids businesses in better managing their field staff, has raised US $750,000. The startup is a member of the Winter 2022 cohort of the accelerator.
With the financing, Fieldproxy raises more than US $1 million in total.
Swaroop Vijayakumar and Balakrishna Balasubramanian founded the company in 2020, and it offers a web-based no-code builder that assists companies in streamlining and simplifying internal communications with their field personnel. These teams work in sectors including telecommunications, consumer products, energy, medicines, and field services.
The company’s go-to-market (GTM) activities will be scaled up largely because of the additional finances.
“As we ramp up our GTM efforts, Fieldproxy is not only aiming to cater to more enterprise customers but also working to scale our ready-made templates library to help businesses get onboarded and build cutting-edge solutions within minutes,” said Vijayakumar.
Hendra Kwik, CEO of Fazz Financial Group, formed Number Capital, a venture capital firm that took part in the most recent round as well. Number Capital has now made its first investment in India.
