Startup incubator & investment firm Venture Catalysts led undisclosed Pre-series A funding raised by Knocksense

Venture Catalysts, a startup incubator and investment firm, has contributed an undisclosed sum to Knocksense’s pre-series A funding round. Knocksense is a hyperlocal content-commerce platform.

The pre-Series A funding round for Lucknow-based Knocksense, in which Mohit Satyanand, Chairman of Teamwork Arts, Nitish Mittersain, Founder of Nazara Technologies Limited, and Venus Dhuria, Co-Founder of Appyhigh, have participated, has so far brought in $1 million. In the same round, investments were also made by singer Lucky Ali, Lets Venture, Mumbai Angels Network, and We Founder Circle.

Knocksense is a platform that creates hyperlocal content, founded in 2016 by Vibhore and Varul Mayank. The company just released KnockOFF, its flagship product that facilitates communication between customers and local brands.

The startup combines curated content feeds with special access to nearby businesses under a subscription-driven business model. With ambitions to grow, the platform offers a clutter-free user experience and has made a significant impact in several cities, including Lucknow, Indore, Kanpur, Bandra (Mumbai), and Ahmedabad.
