AI startup Mindverse secured $5 M Seed funding from Square Peg

The $5 million seed funding round led by Square Peg has been successfully closed by Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup Mindverse.

In a statement released on Thursday, Mindverse said that it plans to use its new funding to advance research and product development with the help of Square Peg and a group of seasoned industry professionals from Meta, NetEase, and other companies.

According to the statement, the goal is to advance the Large Personalization Model and get us closer to a time when AI not only helps, but also accurately recognizes and captures each user’s individual identity.

“While Large Language Models have paved the way,
the true potential of AI lies in its ability to be as diverse and unique as the individuals it serves,

“Our mission is to create an AI future that celebrates this diversity,” said Dr. Felix Tao, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mindverse.

In January 2022, renowned AI researchers and former Meta executives founded Mindverse, an AI technology company.

By introducing the Large Personalization Model, it pioneers Artificial Diversified Intelligence (ADI), with the goal of personalizing AI to reflect the wide range of human thought, values, and patterns.

The company’s flagship products, MindOS Studio and Mebot, are built on this methodology.

With the help of MindOS Studio, businesses can create AI-native websites with dynamic, customized chat interfaces and experiences.

Mebot provides a highly customized experience for users, learning and remembering their preferences and thoughts to function as a virtual second brain to increase productivity.

“We are in the midst of a generational AI shift that will move from generalised language models to personalised experiences,

“It is rare to find a team the calibre of Mindverse’ tackling this shift, and we are thrilled to join them on this journey,” said Tushar Roy, Partner at Square Peg.

The future of artificial intelligence (AI) must, according to Mindverse Co-Founders Tao and Kisson Lin, embrace the diversity of human experiences, beliefs, and values in order to enable a tapestry of AI intelligences that reflect the uniqueness of their creators.
