Verloop.io, an enterprise conversational AI firm, was purchased by Nurix AI, an enterprise AI company that creates autonomous AI software and agents for intricate business procedures.
Through the acquisition, Verloop.io’s chat automation experience and local clientele are added to NuPlay, Nurix’s flagship voice AI platform for customer engagement. It seeks to increase Nurix’s conversational AI capabilities for chat and voice for companies in the Middle East and India.
With this acquisition, Nurix AI and Verloop.io are positioned to assist businesses in deploying production-grade AI agents across chat, voice, and new AI native channels, producing quantifiable business results at scale.
Mukesh Bansal launched Nurix in 2024 to create AI agents that assist businesses in automating intricate processes and producing quantifiable business results. With the support of General Catalyst, Accel, and Prosus, the company has concentrated on assisting businesses in transitioning from AI pilots to production deployments that enhance operational performance, efficiency, and dependability.
Additionally, Nurix AI obtained $27.5 million in funding in September 2024, which was co-led by Accel and General Catalyst and included Meraki Labs.
Gaurav Singh founded Verloop.io in 2015 with the goal of assisting businesses in automating consumer interactions through digital channels in the banking, fintech, retail, and telecoms industries. Verloop.io’s operations and team will assist Nurix AI’s growth across chat-led customer interaction use cases.
The acquisition increases Nurix’s capacity to assist businesses that want AI agents for both asynchronous chat-led journeys and synchronous voice encounters. Verloop.io will join Nurix AI after the deal. At this moment, the companies are not revealing any plans for future product integration.
According to Verloop.io, it powers over 20 million client interactions each month.
