Cancer care startup Oncare raises Rs 27 Cr Series A funding from multiple investors

Startup in cancer care, Sky Impact Capital is leading Oncare’s Series A funding round, which has raised Rs 27 crore, or about $4 million. SteerX, Tremis Capital, Lotus Herbal Group, and Huddle Ventures also participated in the round.

Huddle Ventures and other investors led Oncare’s $1 million seed round.

In addition to tier-II and tier-III cities, the money raised will be utilized to enter new metro markets. In order to enhance care coordination, optimize clinical operations, and enhance patient satisfaction, the company will also make investments in technological infrastructure.

Amar Sneh and Deepak Kumar founded Oncare in 2023 with the goal of providing standardized and reasonably priced cancer treatment through a distributed oncology care platform.

At the moment, Oncare runs four locations throughout Delhi NCR. Within three years of its launch, it developed a multi-center oncology platform and plans to expand across the country.

Over the past few years, funding deals in the oncology segment have increased. In a recent round led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, 4baseCare raised Rs 90 crore. While MOC Cancer Care & Research Centre raised $18 million in a round led by Elevation Capital last year, Everhope Oncology was able to secure $10 million in seed funding. The segment’s other funded startups are OneCell Diagnostics, Oncare, and ErlySign.
